On September 12^th 2007 the Schuylkill Hose Co. #2 of Schuylkill Haven, PA experienced a devastating fire in their engine room. They lost all of their Fire fighting equipment and their building suffered major damage. They were able remain in service through donations of apparatus from neighboring departments. When they started to look into new apparatus and equipment they contacted Jim Lingg the vice President of JunkYard Dog Industries™ to inquire about getting a set struts for their new engine. Jim made the decision after hearing their story to donate a JunkYard Dog Xtend™ System to the department. We proudly delivered the struts to the department at the Harrisburg Fire Expo on May 17^th 2009.
