SideWinder Drawing Winner Announcement

JunkYard Dog Industries is proud to announce the winner of the drawing at the 2010 FDIC Show in Indianapolis, IN.  Printed post cards were sent to pre-registered attendees at the Fire Department Instructors Conference through PennWell Publications advertising the chance to win a pair of the new SideWinder Rescue Stabilization/Lifting Jacks.  The card needed to be filled out and dropped off at the JunkYard Dog Industries booth at the show.  The drawing was held one hour prior to the close of the show.

The winner is Rick Compton Sr. of Muncie, Indiana.  Rick is a past chief of Liberty Township fire department, currently retired from his full time job, and teaches at the Muncie Area Career Center public safety program. Rick continues doing building inspections for Liberty Township Fire Department but thoroughly enjoys the instructing experience at the career center.

Rick was presented the winning SideWinders by Kirk Scott, owner of Extrication Solutions, LLC., the JunkYard Dog Industries dealer for Indiana.  (http://extricationsolutionsllc.com/)

Rick is also posed with his career center students accepting the SideWinder devices.

The SideWinder is a new Stabilization and Lifting jack based on a proven design.  Made for the fire/rescue service, the SideWinder utilizes heavy gauge material, hardened components and ball bearing drive-train to create a device that can hold 15,000 lbs and has a working load limit of 7,500 lbs.  Stationary head can be made to tilt and also removed to change heads.  The SideWinder comes with a manual Speedy Wrench but can be driven by powered impact tools.
