LOWER CLEVIS CONVERSION KIT

Since the introduction of the new XSTRUT™ and ZSTRUT™, users have been interested in the larger lower clevis that was designed for the newer models.  This newer lower clevis allows the strap to be less of a trip hazard and permits the gated hook on the ratchet strap to pass-through for easier triangulation and double-back ratcheting.

The request for a conversion kit was heard, and here is the response.  JYD Industries now has available a Lower Clevis Conversion Kit.  The kit consists of the following:

1)     Larger Red Powder Coated Clevis

2)     3.5” Grade 8 Bolt

3)     Pinch Nut

4)     Two Washers

5)     Two Pieces of Reflective Tape

The current clevis can remain in place or removed – customer’s choice.  If the upper clevis is removed, the two reflective tape pieces can be applied to cover the 2 holes on either side of the strut.
